A double launch was held in China this April, with Gold Expressions events in both Beijing and Nanjing. Over 600 people from the Chinese jewellery trade and media attended the events, on April 15th in Beijing and April 17th in Nanjing. A press conference and fashion show was held in each of the major cities, aiming to introduce the Gold Expressions to the local trade and consumers in China as the world leading trend in gold jewellery category.
The Gold Expressions collections are integrated into the World Gold Council’s K-gold consumer advertising campaign, supported with Point of Sale promotions, to further enhance the consumer interest and consumption of the Gold Expressions collections.
The 2008 display of the made in Italy collections was extremely well received by the local trade and media with feedback such as "Gold Expressions has become the trend of 18K gold jewellery in the world, representing the language of Italian design" and "The GE road show in China helped boost K-gold sales as Chinese consumers have established their aspiration to Italian jewellery through the event".
