Founded in Arezzo in 1964 by Giancarlo Stocchi and Giuseppe Scortecci – who continue to manage the company – Silo presently employs about 150 people who are highly specialised in the production of solid and hollow gold jewellery, crafted both by machine and by hand.
The company's creative identity comes from the union of traditional gold craftsmanship with innovative manufacturing techniques, thanks to an internal creative team that is constantly in tune with trends and emerging market indicators.
The company's most recent investment has been the creation of the ‘Galleria Toscana' brand: an extremely creative ‘Made in Italy' jewellery collection with a high-end target market.
Over the years, the company has often been recognised for its innovative products by large American department stores such as JC Penney, Sears and Macy's.
