Songa was founded in 1921, when Antonio Songa began his career as an artisan goldsmith. Recognising that the market was changing, he became a wholesaler of precious jewellery in 1935. This started a business trend, and Songa became a reference point for the whole sector. Inspired by the same enthusiasm, activity and entrepreneurial spirit as his father, Giovanni Songa took over the helm in 1962. By then, successful commercial products and a proven sales formula had already made the Songa Group a favourite with traditional retailers in the domestic market. It was also one of the first suppliers to adopt a structure for mass distribution. In the mid-1990s, sons Antonio and Francesco joined the company, and their contributions have continued to create success in the quantitative and qualitative growth of the Songa Group.
Today, more than 2,000 clients visit the Songa Group showroom in Milan (Via Albricci, 7) each year to admire the best in goldsmith production, immerse themselves in the latest fashions and preview the most sought-after and original jewellery designs specially selected by Songa's staff.
