Since inheriting the family business from his father Giuseppe, who founded the company in 1958, Marco Bicego has become one of the leading young entrepreneurs in the goldsmith industry. Marco Bicego, with contemporary flair, has re-interpreted ancient goldsmith traditions learned from his father: manual engraving with a variety of burins, and the use of ornamental stones and their many colours, skilfully paired with natural forms and gold's textured surfaces.

Marco Bicego jewellery is sold in over 1,000 locations in the most prestigious towns worldwide, with flagship stores in Verona, Budapest, Mykonos, and headquarters in San Francisco.

The company has received numerous awards over the years, most recently named ‘Designer of the Year' in 2007 by both the USA JQ Design Awards and the UK Jewellery Awards and, in 2008, was bestowed the ‘Young Entrepreneurs of Fashion and Design' award.
