Treemme was founded in Arezzo in 1982 by entrepreneurs whose goldsmith heritage dates back to 1957. The company is renowned worldwide for its skills in the production of handcrafted chains and various styles of patented chain links.

While chains remain the company's speciality, Treemme has expanded its manufacturing expertise to include tubing, solid and hollow wire, gold sheets, stamping, investment casting, laser technology, rapid prototyping, the use of numeric control machinery, and other techniques. These are all carried out in-house, allowing accurate monitoring during the various phases of production; ensuring first-class quality and safeguarding of patents. Special attention is dedicated to the research and to the development of new techniques and products.

Treemme's staff of more than 45 people also manufactures gold lines for the most prestigious luxury brands. In 2005 the company launched the ‘Dall'Avo' brand, which uniquely blends artisan craftsmanship with high-tech manufacturing techniques. The ‘Dall'Avo' brand is marketed in Italy, the USA, and Europe.
