A graduate of Venice's Academy of Fine Arts, Mariano Favero started his own company in 1973 in Bassano del Grappa, near Vicenza, positioning the company at the high end of the market. Today, Favero remains an artisan's workshop of the highest calibre, both in spirit and in its technical production. Proportion and balance dominate the collections and individual pieces crafted by Favero, a renowned designer and one of the most well-known jewellery makers in the world. Indeed, the 'Intreccio' and 'Anni Quaranta' collections are considered landmarks in the history of Italian jewellery.
The sales and branding culture is that of a modern company, with growing opportunities in international markets. Favero's numerous citations for entrepreneurship were honoured in 2003, when the company won the prestigious ‘Couture Design Award'.
