Gold Expressions

Now in its eighth year, Gold Expressions (GE) is one of the initiatives that Fiera di Vicenza organizes in partnership with World Gold Council (WGC). Conceived in 2004 by WGC to capture the world’s attention with the excellence of gold jewellery design, this project has helped re-launch and reinvigorate the desire for gold jewellery around the globe.
Not only has Gold Expressions encouraged the renewal of ‘Made in Italy’ gold jewellery design and helped buyers and consumers appreciate new trends, it has also advanced Italy’s leadership in the global gold jewellery market and made our country the reference point for style and manufacturing excellence.
The combination of promoting Italian creativity of gold jewellery design, the quality of Italy’s products, continuous market knowledge and cutting-edge research ensure an effective advertising campaign in the key markets for gold, thanks also to the commercial success of the new Gold Expressions styles.
This year, the GE collection is divided into six themes inspired by socio-cultural changes. It is comprised of over 120 magnificent pieces from master goldsmiths of the Vicenza and Arezzo areas as well as other Italian cities.
Fiera di Vicenza’s strategic partnership with Word Gold Council means the two organisations work towards common goals: to promote Italian design and to stimulate demand for gold jewellery around the world.
Gold Expressions 2011 will be successful in demonstrating the key role of Italian gold jewellery with respect to design, innovation and quality.
